The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency claimed it can be alarmed concerning the large range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office committed to service the area regularly. The service level created for intervention activities a large influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it tricky SRD for that Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to permit the servicing of all customers and maximize usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
